The C-15 water booster from the Hatco Compact series provides all the 180°F final rinse water to sanitize and flash-dry dishes and flatware. The unit comes with a 6 gallon (23 liters) water tank and fiberglass insulation to minimize heat loss.
The unit includes a temperature/pressure relief valve, a pressure reducing valve and 2 temperature/pressure gauges. Furthermore, it comes with a low-water cut-off to prevent element burnout due to a low water condition and a high-temperature limit safety switch.
Water Quality Requirements:Incoming water exceeding 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) must be treated and softened before being supplied to the booster heater. Water containing over 3.0 GPG will decrease the efficiency and reduce the operating life of the unit through increased lime build-up.
Product failure caused by liming or sediment buildup is not covered under warranty.
