Risk of Loss of Package
Atelier du Chef shall assume the risk of product loss or breakage, from the time Atelier du Chef hands product(s) to Carrier until Customer confirms delivery. Customer’s liability begins when Customer signs Carrier’s delivery slip. Customer must therefore ensure that all merchandise ordered is intact before signing said delivery slip. If any product seems damaged or missing, Customer shall indicate that on the delivery slip before signing it. Customer shall subsequently contact Atelier du Chef to make arrangements for a credit note equal to the value of the broken product(s). Atelier du Chef shall not be held liable if damage is not indicated on the signed delivery slip.
Where products are returned, Atelier du Chef shall only be liable for the package if the Refund and Exchange Policy instructions are followed.
Refund and Exchange Policy
Products purchased in our Deals section and special orders cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are final sales.
Refund and exchange requests must be sent by email to email@example.com
All form sections must be duly completed. A duly completed form has three possible outcomes:
- Atelier du Chef assumes the error and approves the return at its expense.
- Atelier du Chef approves the return at Customer’s expense, as it is a Customer error.
- Atelier du Chef does not authorize the return, as it concerns a product as specified in the first paragraph of this section.
If a return is authorized, Atelier du Chef shall email labelling material. Customer shall print all labels and affix them to the merchandise to be returned. Upon receipt, Atelier du Chef shall proceed as outlined. Atelier du Chef shall not refund shipping and handling charges if its labelling material is not used.
Refunds are issued to the payment method used at time of ordering.
Merchandise to be exchanged may be returned at no cost if Atelier du Chef made the error and at Customer’s expense if Customer made the error.
Returns made ten (10) days after the order receipt date will not be accepted. Products purchased online may be returned online or in store, while products purchased in store may not be returned online.
